This is a big one ladies.
A taste of what my girls in my new membership program will be receiving twice a month on top of a live masterclass, monthly challenges and more!!

In this interview with the incredible Katie Lodge we talk all things finding YOUR purpose through journaling and what journaling can bring into your life!

Katie made the bold decision in 2019 to step into solopreneurship after experiencing burnout and realising that she needed to rediscover what she was truly passionate about.
Through the practice of journaling, reflection and self-discovery, Katie satisfied her yearning to bring more creativity into her life and went to establish two businesses - The Creative Lodge and Flojo.

You can find Katie at:

How to tame your cravings!

Jan 22, 2021

I went LIVE recently in The Women's Health Collective facebook group and spoke about how to tame your food and drink cravings, as I believe that a lot of our cravings are related to the environment that we are in.
Around this time of year when we are spending extra time with friends and family, some who you may not have seen in a while, some of those cravings start to coming back in from a subconscious memory which triggers us to succumb to those cravings!

Please share your answers in the comments OR if you feel more comfortable you can email me directly on [email protected]!

I look forward to seeing all your responses 🥰

Love and light,

Danni xx

Why reflecting in December is so important

Jan 22, 2021

I recently went LIVE in The Women's Health Collective facebook group with some questions that we can all use to help us reflect on 2020 throughout December, so we can enter 2021 already working toward the person that we want to be.

If you didn't get around the reflecting through December, there is no time like the present!

Don't wait till Monday, the beginning of next month or New Years, start now!

Questions to Journal on;
1. What are you most proud of achieving
2. How have you grown?
3. How have you changed? What do you want more of?
4. How are you going to make that happen?
5. What’s incomplete? What have you started but not finished? How are you going to make steps to do this before the end of December?
6. What are your top 3 priorities? What do you need to do to make these happen?
HAPPY JOURNALLING!!

I can’t wait to hear how you go once you have made the time for YOU, reflected and become clear in where you are at and where you are going 💕💓🥰
Please share...

I want what she has!

Nov 10, 2020

How many times have you seen another woman and thought to yourself…

“I wish I looked like her.”
“Her life must be perfect with thighs like that.”
“If only I could fit into those skinny jeans.”

You gaze at her long legs and thin waist and curse yourself for not looking like that.

You start to wonder what she does to look like that. She must eat celery dipped in air to get
that figure. A thousand sit ups a day to get those abs. Or she probably runs 7km every day.

Suddenly, your self-esteem is in the gutter and you find yourself making a pact that you’re
going to start a new crazy diet on Monday.

Little did you know, she walked past and also noticed you.

“I wish I had her beautiful hair” she thought to herself. “And I love her dress, I wish I could
afford beautiful clothes like that.”

Here’s a secret: comparison is the thief of joy.

And now here’s another secret: What you dislike about yourself and your...

7 Ways to Smile through COVID and the heavy energy around you

Oct 06, 2020

“Folks are usually as happy as they make their minds up to be”

Abraham Lincoln

New research shows that happier people are more productive at work, more creative and even more
energised than their less happier peers. But how do you find happiness when you are in a whole of
negative energy and you can’t see your way out?
As much as we would all like the magical pill to make us happy forever, there is definitely a science
to happiness. Once we know better we can do better and become more skillful at staying happier for
longer.
To help you get started I have put together 7 easy steps to bring more happiness into your daily
lives even when it feels there is only darkness…..

1. EAT FOR HAPPINESS

asparagus, eggs, yoghurt (my fave is Chobani natural) dark chocolate (Not a family block though) & leafy...

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FOR MUMS

Depression and anxiety is something that can hit you at anytime.  Many women can experience these conditions during pregnancy or even years after as the juggle of #mumlife sets in!

It is still such a a “taboo” subject amongst mothers and can often make us feel isolated, ashamed, lonely and just plain lost as to who we really are anymore!

Becoming a mother brings such a wide range of emotions so it is normal to first feel times  of passing sadness, excitement, nervousness of the unknown and at times a little stress.

All parents move through a period of adjustment when they first take home their beautiful bundle of joy while they build confidence and learn what their baby needs.

However, depression and high anxiety is more then this.  Let me explain below

So what is the difference between depression and anxiety?

SIGNS OF DEPRESSION:

  • You feel hopeless and can’t see “the light at the end of the...

WHAT CALORIE COUNTING CAN MEAN FOR YOU

Sep 22, 2020

Learning to understand your nutrition and the density of some foods is a great step towards fuelling your body with the greatest nutrition of your life!

WHAT ARE CALORIES?

Calories are a simple measure of energy in your food.  Kilojoules measure the same thing with a different measure; 1 cal = 0.004184kj.

1g of protein = 4 calories

1 g of carbs - 4 calories

1g of fat = 9 calories

1g of alcohol = 7 calories

PROS OF CALORIE COUNTING:

Calorie counting will keep you more accountable for what you are putting in your mouth AND most importantly it makes you very aware of the calorie density of some foods you are choosing to fuel your body with.

For example:

Calorie counting takes the guesswork out of losing weight/gaining muscle or whatever your goal may be.  It is also great for feedback on what you can change through reflection of where you DID make choices not great for your goal. This will allow you to reach your goal faster.

Calorie tracking is great...
