I went LIVE recently in The Women's Health Collective facebook group and spoke about how to tame your food and drink cravings, as I believe that a lot of our cravings are related to the environment that we are in.
Around this time of year when we are spending extra time with friends and family, some who you may not have seen in a while, some of those cravings start to coming back in from a subconscious memory which triggers us to succumb to those cravings!

Love and light,
I recently went LIVE in The Women's Health Collective facebook group with some questions that we can all use to help us reflect on 2020 throughout December, so we can enter 2021 already working toward the person that we want to be.

How many times have you seen another woman and thought to yourself…
“I wish I looked like her.”
“Her life must be perfect with thighs like that.”
“If only I could fit into those skinny jeans.”
You gaze at her long legs and thin waist and curse yourself for not looking like that.
You start to wonder what she does to look like that. She must eat celery dipped in air to get
that figure. A thousand sit ups a day to get those abs. Or she probably runs 7km every day.
Suddenly, your self-esteem is in the gutter and you find yourself making a pact that you’re
going to start a new crazy diet on Monday.
Little did you know, she walked past and also noticed you.
“I wish I had her beautiful hair” she thought to herself. “And I love her dress, I wish I could
afford beautiful clothes like that.”
Here’s a secret: comparison is the thief of joy.
And now here’s another secret: What you dislike about yourself and your...

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FOR MUMS
Depression and anxiety is something that can hit you at anytime. Many women can experience these conditions during pregnancy or even years after as the juggle of #mumlife sets in!
It is still such a a “taboo” subject amongst mothers and can often make us feel isolated, ashamed, lonely and just plain lost as to who we really are anymore!
Becoming a mother brings such a wide range of emotions so it is normal to first feel times of passing sadness, excitement, nervousness of the unknown and at times a little stress.
All parents move through a period of adjustment when they first take home their beautiful bundle of joy while they build confidence and learn what their baby needs.
However, depression and high anxiety is more then this. Let me explain below
So what is the difference between depression and anxiety?
SIGNS OF DEPRESSION:
Learning to understand your nutrition and the density of some foods is a great step towards fuelling your body with the greatest nutrition of your life!
WHAT ARE CALORIES?

1g of protein = 4 calories
1 g of carbs - 4 calories
1g of fat = 9 calories
1g of alcohol = 7 calories
PROS OF CALORIE COUNTING:
Calorie counting will keep you more accountable for what you are putting in your mouth AND most importantly it makes you very aware of the calorie density of some foods you are choosing to fuel your body with.
Calorie counting takes the guesswork out of losing weight/gaining muscle or whatever your goal may be. It is also great for feedback on what you can change through reflection of where you DID make choices not great for your goal. This will allow you to reach your goal faster.
Calorie tracking is great...
